S o Jeremiah stayed in the open space of the prison until the day Jerusalem was taken.

وَبَقِيَ إرْمِيا فِي ساحَةِ السِّجنِ إلَى اليَومِ الّذِي استَولَى فِيهِ البابِلِيُّونَ عَلَى مَدِينَةِ القُدسِ.
