B ut Jeremiah said, “It is a lie! I am not going over to the Babylonians.” But Irijah would not listen to him. He took hold of Jeremiah and brought him to the leaders.

Giê-rê-mi đáp rằng: Nói bướng! ta không hàng đầu người Canh-đê đâu. Nhưng Gi-rê-gia không nghe, cứ bắt Giê-rê-mi mà dắt đến trước mặt các quan trưởng.
