W hen he was worshiping in the house of his god Nisroch, his sons Adrammelech and Sharezer killed him with the sword. Then they ran away to the land of Ararat. And his son Esarhaddon became king in his place.

E sucedeu que, enquanto ele adorava na casa de Nisroque, seu deus, Adrameleb, que e Sarezer, seus filhos, o mataram ã espada; e escaparam para a terra de Arará. E Ezar-Hadom, seu filho, reinou em seu lugar.
