Isaiah 36:6 ~ Isaia 36:6

S ee, you are trusting in Egypt, whose power is like a broken piece of grass. If a man rests against it, it will cut into his hand. So is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all who trust in him.

Ecco, tu confidi nell’Egitto, in quel sostegno di canna rotta, che penetra nella mano di chi vi si appoggia e gliela fora; così è il faraone, re d’Egitto, per tutti quelli che confidano in lui.
