I opened the door to my love, but he had already gone! My heart went out to him as he spoke. I looked for him, but did not find him. I called him, but he did not answer me.

Abrí a mi amado, pero mi amado se había ido, ya había pasado, y tras su voz se me salió el alma. Lo busqué, mas no lo hallé; lo llamé, y no me respondió.
