Ecclesiastes 3:19 ~ Eclesiastul 3:19

F or the same thing is to happen to both the sons of men and animals. As one dies, so dies the other. They all have the same breath, and to be a man is no better than to be an animal. Because all is for nothing.

Căci soarta omului şi soarta animalului sunt una şi aceeaşi: cum moare unul, moare şi celălalt. Amândoi au aceeaşi suflare, iar omul nu are parte de nimic în plus faţă de animal. Totul este deşertăciune!
