B esides being a wise man, the Preacher also taught the people much learning. He thought about, and looked for, and put together many wise sayings.

كانَ المُعَلِّمُ حَكِيماً. بِحِكمَتِهِ عَلَّمَ الشَّعبَ. وَزَنَ أُمُورَ الحَياةِ وَدَرَسَ وَفَتَّشَ، وَجَمَعَ أمثالاً وَحِكَماً كَثيرَةً.
