وَقالَ اللهُ لِمُوسَى: «اذْهَبْ وَقِفْ أمامَ فِرعَوْنَ فِي الصَّباحِ حِينَ يَخرُجُ إلَى الماءِ، وَقُلْ لَهُ: ‹يَقُولُ اللهُ لَكَ أطلِقْ شَعبِيَ لِيَعبُدَنِي.
