M oses and Aaron did what the Lord had told them. Aaron raised the special stick and hit the water of the Nile in front of Pharaoh and his servants. And all the water in the Nile was turned into blood.

Moisés e Arão fizeram como o Senhor tinha ordenado. Arão levantou a vara e feriu as águas do Nilo na presença do faraó e dos seus conselheiros; e toda a água do rio transformou-se em sangue.
