A aron’s son Eleazar married one of the daughters of Putiel. She gave birth to his son Phinehas. These are the heads of the fathers’ houses of the Levites by their families.

وَاتَّخَذَ ألِيعازارُ بْنُ هارُونَ إحدَى بَناتِ فُوطِيئِيلَ زَوجَةً لَهُ، فَوَلَدَتْ لَهُ فِينْحاسَ. هَؤُلاءِ هُمْ رُؤَساءُ بُيُوتِ آباءِ الَّلاوِيِّينَ بِحَسَبِ عَشائِرِهِمْ.
