T hen make a mercy-seat from pure gold, two and a half cubits long and one and a half cubits wide.

وَاصْنَعْ لِلصُّنْدُوقِ غِطاءً مِنْ ذَهَبٍ نَقِيٍّ، طُولُهُ ذِراعانِ ونَصْفٌ، وَعَرضُهُ ذِراعٌ وَنِصْفٌ.
