T he people stood far away, while Moses came near to the cloud where God was.

فَوَقَفَ الشَّعبُ مِنْ بَعِيدٍ، وَأمّا مُوسَى فَاقتَرَبَ إلَى السَّحابَةِ الكَثِيفَةِ الَّتِي كانَ اللهُ فِيها.
