Esther 9:1 ~ Estera 9:1

N ow came the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, the month of Adar, when the king’s law was about to be carried out. It was the day when those who hated the Jews hoped to get the rule over them. But their plan was turned around, and the Jews ruled over those who hated them.

În luna a douăsprezecea, adică luna Adar, în a treisprezecea zi a lunii, ziua în care avea să se aducă la îndeplinire porunca şi hotărîrea împăratului, şi cînd vrăjmaşii Iudeilor nădăjduiseră să stăpînească peste ei, s'a întîmplat tocmai dimpotrivă, că Iudeii au stăpînit asupra vrăjmaşilor lor.
