Nehemiah 9:29 ~ Neemia 9:29

Y ou spoke sharp words to them to turn them back to Your Law. Yet they acted in pride and did not listen to Your Words, but sinned against Your Laws, by which if a man obeys them he will live. They were strong-willed and made their hearts hard against You, and would not listen.

Tu li esortavi per farli tornare alla tua legge, ma essi si inorgoglivano e non ubbidivano ai tuoi comandamenti, e peccavano contro i tuoi decreti per mezzo dei quali, se uno li mette in pratica salva la vita; ritraevano le loro spalle dal giogo, indurivano la loro cervice e rifiutavano di ubbidire.
