F or I was ashamed to ask the king for soldiers and horsemen to keep us safe from those who hate us on the way, because we had said to the king, “The hand of our God brings good to all who look for Him. But His power and His anger are against all who turn away from Him.”

Porque tuve vergüenza de pedir al rey tropas y hombres de a caballo para protegernos del enemigo en el camino, pues habíamos dicho al rey: La mano de nuestro Dios es propicia para con todos los que le buscan, mas su poder y su ira contra todos los que le abandonan.
