A ll King Solomon’s cups were made of gold. And all the cups of the House of the Trees of Lebanon were made of pure gold. Silver was not thought of as having much worth in the days of Solomon.

И всичките цар Соломонови съдове за пиене бяха златни, и всичките съдове в къщата Ливански лес от чисто злато; ни един не бе от сребро; <среброто> се считаше за нищо в Соломоновите дни.
