N ow the Lord has kept His promise which He made. For I have taken the place of my father David and sit on the throne of Israel, as the Lord promised. And I have built the house for the name of the Lord, the God of Israel.

І сповнив Господь Своє слово, що Він говорив. І став я замість батька свого Давида та й сів на Ізраїлевому троні, як говорив був Господь, і я збудував оцей храм для Ймення Господа, Бога Ізраїлевого.
