F or our fathers have not been faithful. They have done what is bad in the eyes of the Lord our God. They have left Him and turned their faces away from the house of the Lord. They have turned their backs.

Poiché i nostri padri hanno peccato e hanno fatto ciò che è male agli occhi dell'Eterno, il nostro DIO e l'hanno abbandonato, distogliendo le loro facce dalla dimora dell'Eterno e voltandogli le spalle.
