T hen Hezekiah said, “Now that you have made yourselves holy to the Lord, come near and bring gifts for the altar and gifts of thanks to the house of the Lord.” And the people brought gifts for the altar and gifts of thanks. All those who were willing brought burnt gifts.

Văzând acestea, Ezechia a zis: „Acum că v-aţi dedicat Domnului, apropiaţi-vă şi aduceţi jertfe şi daruri de mulţumire la Casa Domnului!“ Astfel adunarea a adus jertfe şi daruri de mulţumire, iar toţi aceia care aveau o inimă generoasă au adus arderi de tot.
