T he Philistines also had come to fight against the cities of the valley and of the Negev of Judah. They had taken Beth-shemesh, Aijalon, Gederoth, Soco with its villages, Timnah with its villages, and Gimzo with its villages. And they came to live there.

Filistenii au năvălit în cetăţile din cîmpie şi din partea de miazăzi a lui Iuda; au luat Bet-Şemeşul, Aialonul, Ghederotul, Soco şi satele lui, Timna şi satele ei, Ghimzo şi satele lui, şi s'au aşezat acolo.
