J otham did what was right in the eyes of the Lord. He did all that his father Uzziah had done, only he did not go into the house of the Lord. But the people still sinned much.

El a făcut ce este drept înaintea Domnului, tot aşa cum făcuse şi tatăl său, Uzia; spre deosebire de acesta, el nu a intrat în Templul Domnului. Poporul însă a continuat să se strice.
