T hen the Lord was angry with Amaziah and sent a man who speaks for God to him, saying, “Why have you worshiped the gods of the people? These gods have not saved their own people from your hand.”

Per questo l'ira dell'Eterno si accese contro Amatsiah e gli mandò un profeta per dirgli: «Perché hai cercato gli dèi di questo popolo, che non sono stati capaci di liberare il loro popolo dalla tua mano?».
