F or a long time Israel was without the true God, without a teaching religious leader, and without law.

ظَلَّتْ إسْرائِيلُ زَمَناً طَويلاً مِنْ غَيْرِ اللهِ الحَقيقِيِّ. وَظَلَّ بَنُو إسْرائِيلَ مِنْ غَيرِ كاهِنٍ يُعَلّمُهُمْ، وَمِنْ غَيرِ شَريعَةٍ.
