H e ruled for three years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Micaiah the daughter of Uriel of Gibeah. And there was war between Abijah and Jeroboam.

وَقَدْ حَكَمَ أبِيّا فِي القُدسِ ثَلاثَ سَنَواتٍ. وَكانَتْ أُمُّهُ مِيخَايَا بِنتَ أُورِيئِيلَ الَّذِي مِنْ جِبْعَةَ. وَوَقَعَتْ حَربٌ بَينَ أبِيّا وَيَرُبْعامُ.
