S o all the powerful soldiers went and took the bodies of Saul and his sons. They brought them to Jabesh and buried their bones under the oak tree there. Then they went without food for seven days.

e tutti gli uomini valorosi si alzarono, presero i cadaveri di Saul e dei suoi figli e li portarono a Iabes; seppellirono le loro ossa sotto la tamerice di Iabes e digiunarono per sette giorni.
