2 Kings 18:26 ~ ﺍﻟﻤﻠﻮﻙ ﺍﻟﺜﺎﻧﻲ 18:26

T hen Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, and Shebnah, and Joah, said to Rabshakeh, “Speak to your servants in the Aramaic language, for we understand it. Do not speak with us in the language of Judah. The people on the wall might hear it.”

فَقالَ ألِياقِيمُ بْنُ حِلْقِيّا، وَشِبْنَةُ، وَيُواخُ لِرَبْشاقَى: «نَرْجُو أن تُكِلِّمنا، نَحنُ خُدّامَكَ، بِاللُّغَةِ الأرامِيَّةِ، فَنَحنُ نَفهَمُها. وَلا تُكَلِّمْنا بِلُغَةِ يَهُوذا لِئَلّا يَفهَمَ الشَّعبُ ما تَقُولُهُ.»
