T hen King Hezekiah of Judah sent word to the king of Assyria at Lachish, saying, “I have done wrong; leave me. I will pay whatever you ask.” So the king of Assyria had Hezekiah king of Judah pay him silver weighing as much as 300 men, and gold weighing as much as thirty men.

Entonces Ezequías rey de Judá envió a decir al rey de Asiria que estaba en Laquís: Yo he faltado; deja de atacarme y pagaré todo lo que me impongas. Y el rey de Asiria impuso a Ezequías rey de Judá trescientos talentos de plata, y treinta talentos de oro.
