T he people of Israel did things in secret which were not right, against the Lord their God. They built high places for themselves in all their towns, from the smallest town to the strongest city.

Também os filhos de Israel fizeram secretamente contra o Senhor seu Deus coisas que não eram retas. Edificaram para si altos em todas as suas cidades, desde a torre das atalaias até a cidade fortificada;
