Z echariah did what was sinful in the eyes of the Lord, as his fathers had done. He did not turn away from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which made Israel sin.

وَفَعَلَ زَكَرِيّا الشَّرَّ أمامَ اللهِ كَآبائِهِ. وَتَمَسَّكَ بِخَطايا يَرُبْعامَ بْنِ نَباطَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ يُخطِئُونَ.
