P ekah did what was sinful in the eyes of the Lord. He did not turn away from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which made Israel sin.

وَفَعَلَ فَقَحُ الشَّرَّ أمامَ اللهِ. وَتَمَسَّكَ بِخَطايا يَرُبْعامَ بْنِ نَباطَ الَّذِي جَرَّ بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ إلَى الخَطِيَّةِ.
