B ut the Lord showed them kindness and loving-pity and turned to them because of His agreement with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. He would not destroy them or put them away from Him until now.

Totuşi Domnul a fost îndurător faţă de israeliţi şi a avut milă de ei, întorcându-Şi faţa spre ei datorită legământului Său cu Avraam, Isaac şi Iacov. Nici până acum n-a dorit să-i distrugă sau să-i izgonească din prezenţa Lui.
