E lisha became sick with the sickness of which he was to die. And Joash the king of Israel came down to him and cried over him, saying, “My father, my father, the war-wagons of Israel and its horsemen!”

وَمَرِضَ ألِيشَعُ. وَفِيما بَعْدُ ماتَ بِمَرَضِهِ هَذا. فَذَهَبَ يَهُوآشُ مَلِكُ إسْرائِيلَ لِيَزُورَهُ، وَبَكَى عَلَيهِ وَقالَ: «يا أبِي! يا أبِي! هَلْ حانَ الآنَ وَقْتُ مَرْكَبَةِ إسْرائِيلَ وَخَيلِها؟»
