T hen Solomon made a marriage agreement with Pharaoh the king of Egypt. He took Pharaoh’s daughter and brought her to the city of David. She stayed there until he had finished building his own house, and the house of the Lord, and the wall around Jerusalem.

Ora, Salomão aparentou-se com Faraó, rei do Egito, pois tomou por mulher a filha dele; e a trouxe ã cidade de Davi, até que acabasse de edificar a sua casa, e a casa do Senhor, e a muralha de Jerusalém em redor.
