T hen the king of Israel called all the leaders of the land. He said to them, “Look and see how this man is looking for trouble. He sent to me for my wives and my children, my silver and my gold. And I did not say no to him.”

O rei de Israel convocou todas as autoridades de Israel e lhes disse: “Vejam como esse homem está querendo a nossa desgraça! Quando mandou tomar as minhas mulheres e os meus filhos, a minha prata e o meu ouro, eu não lhe neguei!”
