S o Elijah got up and went to Zarephath. When he came to the city gate, he saw a woman there gathering sticks. He called to her and said, “I ask of you, get me a little water in a jar, that I may drink.”

فَذَهَبَ إيلِيّا إلَى صِرْفَةَ صَيدُونَ. وَعِندَما وَصَلَ إلَى بابِ المَدِينَةِ، رَأى الأرمَلَةَ تَجمَعُ عِيداناً لِلنّارِ. فَقالَ لَها إيلِيّا: «أحْضِرِي لِيَ مِنْ فَضلِكِ بَعْضَ الماءِ فِي كُوبٍ لِأشْرَبَ؟»
