1 Kings 16:34 ~ ﺍﻟﻤﻠﻮﻙ ﺍﻷﻭ 16:34

I n his days Hiel the Bethelite built Jericho. His first-born son Abiram died as he began to build the city. His youngest son Segub died as he put up its gates. It happened as it was told by the word of the Lord spoken by Joshua the son of Nun.

وَفِي فَتْرَةِ حُكمِهِ، أعادَ حِيئِيلُ البَيتُئِيلِيُّ بناء مَدِينَةَ أرِيحا. وَعِندَما باشَرَ العَمَلَ فِي وَضْعِ أساساتِ المدينةِ، ماتَ ابنُهُ البِكْرُ أبِيرامُ. وَعِندَما وَضَعَ حِيئِيلُ أبواباً لِلمَدِينَةِ، ماتَ ابنُهُ الأصغَرُ، سَجُوبُ. حَدَثَ هَذا تَحقِيقاً لِما قالَهُ اللهُ عَلَى فَمِ يَشُوعَ بْنِ نُونَ.
