“ Let there be an agreement of peace between me and you, as between my father and your father. See, I have sent you a gift of silver and gold. Go and break your agreement of peace with Baasha king of Israel, so that he will leave me.”

Haja aliança entre mim e ti, como houve entre meu pai e teu pai. Eis que aqui te mando um presente de prata e de ouro; vai, e anula a tua aliança com Baasa, rei de Israel, para que ele se retire de mim.
