A fter this, Jeroboam did not return from his sinful way. Again he made religious leaders of the high places from among all the people. He set apart any of them who were willing to be religious leaders of the high places.

A pesar de todo esto, Jeroboán no se arrepintió de su maldad, pues volvió a nombrar sacerdotes para los altares que había levantado entre el pueblo, y a cualquiera que quisiera ministrar en esos altares lo consagraba como sacerdote.
