K ing Rehoboam spoke with the leaders who had worked for his father Solomon while he was still alive. He asked them, “What answer do you think I should give to these people?”

فَاسْتَشارَ المَلِكُ رَحُبْعامُ بَعضَ الشُّيُوخِ الَّذِينَ عَمِلُوا مُسْتَشارِينَ لِأبِيهِ سُلَيْمانَ فِي حَياتِهِ وَسَألَهُمْ: «بِماذا أرُدُّ عَلَى الشَّعبٍ؟»
