W hen Saul’s son Ish-bosheth heard that Abner had died in Hebron, he lost his strength of heart. All Israel was troubled.

وَبَلَغَ إلَى مَسامِعِ ابْنِ شاولَ إيشْبُوشَثَ خَبَرُ مَقْتَلِ أبْنِيْرَ فِي حَبْرُونَ، فَخافَ إيشْبُوشَثُ وَشَعبُهُ كُلُّهُ خَوْفاً شَدِيداً.
