T he man said to Joab, “Even for a thousand pieces of silver in my hand, I would not go against the king’s son. For we heard the king tell you and Abishai and Ittai, ‘Keep the young man Absalom safe for me.’

那 人 對 約 押 說 ： 我 就 是 得 你 一 千 舍 客 勒 銀 子 ， 我 也 不 敢 伸 手 害 王 的 兒 子 ； 因 為 我 們 聽 見 王 囑 咐 你 和 亞 比 篩 並 以 太 說 ： 你 們 要 謹 慎 ， 不 可 害 那 少 年 人 押 沙 龍 。
