T he Lord has punished you for all the blood of the family of Saul, in whose place you have ruled! The Lord has given the nation to your son Absalom! Your trouble is upon you, because you are a man of blood!”

Domnul a întors asupra ta tot sângele pe care l-ai vărsat în familia lui Saul, căruia i-ai luat domnia. Astfel că Domnul i-a dat domnia fiului tău Absalom, iar tu eşti nenorocit, căci eşti un om al sângelui.
