W hile they were on their way, the news came to David, saying, “Absalom has killed all the king’s sons. Not one of them is left.”

كانَ أبْناءُ الملِكِ ما يَزالُونَ في طَرِيقِهِم إلَى داخِلِ المَدِينَةِ. لَكِنَّ الملكَ داوُدَ تلقّى خبراً جاءَ فِيهِ: «قَتَلَ أبْشالُومَ أبْناءَ الملِكِ جَمِيعاً! ولَمْ يَبْقَ واحِدٌ مِنْهُم حيًّا.»
