A braham took the wood for the burnt gift and had Isaac carry it. He took in his hand the fire and the knife. And the two of them walked on together.

Avraam a luat lemnele pentru arderea de tot, le -a pus în spinarea fiului său Isaac, şi a luat în mînă focul şi cuţitul. Şi au mers astfel amîndoi împreună.
