S o Lot went out to speak to his sons-in-law who were to marry his daughters. He said, “Get up! Get out of this place! For the Lord will destroy the city!” But his sons-in-law thought he was only joking.

Allora Lot uscì, parlò ai suoi generi che avevano preso le sue figlie, e disse: «Alzatevi, uscite da questo luogo, perché il Signore sta per distruggere la città». Ma ai suoi generi parve che volesse scherzare.
