T he Levites took down the ark of the Lord and the chest that was with it, in which were the articles of gold, and put them on the large stone. Then the men of Beth Shemesh offered burnt offerings and made sacrifices the same day to the Lord.

Leviţii au dat jos Chivotul Domnului împreună cu lada care se afla lângă el şi în care se aflau obiectele din aur şi le-au aşezat pe piatra aceea mare. În ziua aceea, bărbaţii din Bet-Şemeş au adus o ardere de tot şi jertfe Domnului.
