S o the messenger answered and said, “Israel has fled before the Philistines, and there has been a great slaughter among the people. Also your two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, are dead; and the ark of God has been captured.”

Allora il messaggero rispose e disse: «Israele è fuggito davanti ai Filistei, e c'è stata una grande strage fra il popolo anche i tuoi due figli Hofni e Finehas sono morti, e l'arca di DIO è stata presa».
