T hen the princes of the Philistines said, “What are these Hebrews doing here? ” And Achish said to the princes of the Philistines, “ Is this not David, the servant of Saul king of Israel, who has been with me these days, or these years? And to this day I have found no fault in him since he defected to me. ”

Bấy giờ, các quan trưởng dân Phi-li-tin nói rằng: Những người Hê-bơ-rơ đó là ai? A-kích đáp rằng: Aáy là Đa-vít, tôi tớ của Sau-lơ, vua Y-sơ-ra-ên, ở với ta đã lâu ngày chầy năm. Từ ngày người sang nơi chúng ta cho đến bây giờ, ta chẳng thấy lỗi gì nơi người.
