S o David took the spear and the jug of water by Saul’s head, and they got away; and no man saw or knew it or awoke. For they were all asleep, because a deep sleep from the Lord had fallen on them.

Tomou, pois, Davi a lança e a bilha d'água da cabeceira de Saul, e eles se foram. Ninguém houve que o visse, nem que o soubesse, nem que acordasse; porque todos estavam dormindo, pois da parte do Senhor havia caído sobre eles um profundo sono.
