T hen David answered the priest, and said to him, “Truly, women have been kept from us about three days since I came out. And the vessels of the young men are holy, and the bread is in effect common, even though it was consecrated in the vessel this day.”

大 卫 对 祭 司 说 ： 实 在 约 有 三 日 我 们 没 有 亲 近 妇 人 ； 我 出 来 的 时 候 ， 虽 是 寻 常 行 路 ， 少 年 人 的 器 皿 还 是 洁 净 的 ； 何 况 今 日 不 更 是 洁 净 麽 ？
